PHYSICAL BITCOIN WALLET
TrustBlock’s Physical Bitcoin Wallet designed with 4 key principles in mind: Security, Privacy, Usability, and Durability.
The components of the kit reflect these principles. Within seconds, you can securely receive and send Bitcoin to anyone, anytime, anywhere. And with our recovery option, your crypto is never lost.

Public Key
A public key is a cryptographic code that allows a user to receive cryptocurrencies to the wallet.
This code is represented as a cryptocurrency destination address for receiving transfers.

We use P2PKH-addresses that start with “1”.
These addresses are supported by all platforms that accept Bitcoin, which guarantees a very wide acceptance.
For example:
1BvBMSEYstWetqTFn5Au4m4GFg7xJaNVN2
Private key
A private key is a secret, alphanumeric password / number used to send your coins to another wallet address.
The TrustBlock private key is encrypted with a BIP38-password. You need both the private key and the BIP38 password to sign and approve your cryptocurrency transfer.

For example: 6PRSAE1S1K8iAHF64HTGjHFxDq3RrFbW1ktnvn9XjWfRB57rJ4Lonqi8m3
Never store your private key with your password!
BIP38 encryption password

Always choose a unique password that contains letters, numbers and special characters. Make sure your password is hard to guess.
Mnemonic seed phrases

For example: Safely store one part at your lawyers office and keep the other part with a trusted family member. Be aware that anyone who possesses both phrases can transfer funds from your wallet!
They need to be kept safe in separate locations.
